Home Energy Survey & Plan
A detailed survey of your home. You’ll receive a thorough report with cost/benefit analysis of suitable options and highlighting defects that should be considered as part of your project.
Includes:
- Follow-up call to discuss the report & recommendations.
- Borescope survey of cavity walls and unknown building fabric where feasible.
- Thermal camera assessment where temperature conditions allow.
- Ventilation assessment.
Suitable for those looking for a detailed cost/benefit analysis of energy efficiency options, and a necessary precursor to the Design Consultation and Project Installation services.

Design Consultation
Building on your Home Energy Survey & Plan, we’ll discuss the detail of your options and preferences for the various measures in your project. This includes insulation types, system manufacturers, window styles and key detailing within and between different efficiency measures etc. We’ll then be able to provide a detailed quote for your project.
Includes:
- In-person consultation in your home or preferred venue.
- Explanation as to the benefits of different material types and system designs.
- Heating & solar PV system modelling.
- Reference to reputable sources to support discussions about material and system options.
- Discussion of performance monitoring options both pre and post retrofit.
- Follow-up information on any specifics we are unable to tie down during the consultation.
Suitable if you’re looking to progress to installation and want to understand more detail about specifics to to look for in a quote. Tactical Energy Systems can provide a quote following this consultation, but you’re welcome to take it to others for a quote too.

Project Installation
We’ll install the measures in your project as agreed and quoted following the design consultation.
Includes:
- A project plan of the works with dates and durations for key activities.
- Quality, accredited tradespeople who take pride in their work and seek to minimise disruption wherever possible.
- Professional, technical oversight of works.
- All warranties & guarantees.
- Thorough handover of the systems to ensure you know how to use them for maximum efficiency.
- Maintenance advice.
Suitable if you’re looking for a fully project managed, high quality installation with particular attention to the details between efficiency measures.
